Target Pests: Thrips Larvae & Whiteflies
Description: Swirskii mites feed primarily on thrips larvae but can also be used to treat whiteflies. They perform well at temperatures above 85 degrees (where cucumeris mites begin to struggle) and can be used for both active infestations and preventatively.
Indoor Life Expectancy: 4-6 weeks
Plants Treated: approx. 1-3 per sachet
Application: Sachets are considered slow-release and therefore excellent for overall prevention. Each sachet contains multiple life stages of mites that emerge every two weeks for 4-6 weeks. For prevention, use one sachet for about every three plants. For active pest issues, use 2-3 sachets per plant. Swirskii mites and cucumeris mites should NOT be used together because they will prey on each other instead of the pests!
Tip: Write the date of application on each sachet so you will know when it’s time to replace it.
