Lacewing Egg Card (5000 count)

$22.00

Target Pests: Thrips, Mealybugs, Spider Mites, Scale, and Aphids

Description: Lacewing larvae are generalist predators that feed on thrips, mealybugs, spider mites, scale, and aphids. It is very rare for lacewing larvae to mature to their adult stage when used indoors as our homes don't provide adequate nutrition or the proper environmental conditions. They are excellent for active infestations, but you can use them preventatively as well.

Indoor Life Expectancy: 10-14 days

Plants Treated: approx. 50-60

Application: An egg card is a thin piece of cardboard with approximately 5,000 lacewing eggs glued onto 30 perforated sections. Gently separate the sections and distribute them among your plants. Egg cards can be used for plants in all substrates.

Tip: Keep in mind that the egg-to-larva ratio is approximately 5 to 1 which means that for every five eggs, you can expect one larva to survive. This ratio accounts for eggs that don’t hatch or are eaten by other lacewings.
